Angela

Angela Williams was 9 years old when Ghostbusters was released. However, she wasn’t allowed to see it in the theatre because it was about evil spirits, a topic that was strictly off-limits in her very religious home. That didn’t stop her from seeing the movie about 850 times over the next 25 years; and the glorious vision of a New York City now safe from the threat of Gozer was sufficiently burned into her retinas by the time she relocated here from Richmond, VA. Minions of Gozer is the culmination of Angela’s lifelong love affair with Ghostbusters; a <3-shaped box of Crunch bars for the boys in beige, and a big wet kiss to the city in which they lived and worked. When she isn’t thinking up new ways to cover New Yorkers in silly string, Angela can be seen in independent and student films and unconventional theatre projects around the city. In May 2012 she fulfilled some of her non-GB related childhood fantasies fulfilled in Kara Hearn’s “Unnamed Broadway Musical: The Musical!“ Despite the strict ban on the paranormal in her adopted childhood home, ghostbusting runs in Angela’s blood; her mother is a paranormal investigator in PA.

Angela is the brains behind the Minions of Gozer, creating the show from nothing but a dream and a refusal to grow up back in 2011. She has played Psychic Jennifer, the Real Estate Broker, Asprin Lady, the Con Ed Worker, Mayor Lenny, and a Terror Dog. She also played Dr. Raychel Stantz (Dr. Ray Stantz) in the Gender Bender Edition. You’ve got to try this pole.

Ryan

Ryan Espin believes it may have been some sort of fate that made his date of birth the same number as Dana Barrett’s apartment, and it was luck that the Minions came around, and may even be some sort of twisted karma that led him to this point, but he believes that everything happens for a reason. This reason, to wear a proton pack and kick some ass.

Also, he does associate producing stuff with Angela, and this web site as well.

Ryan plays Dr. Peter Venkman and can be seen as Dana Barrett in the Gender Bender Edition.

Eryn

Eryn Roberts is an actor/model from New Jersey. (The nice New Jersey, ya know, like the one from that show. No not THAT show, the other one. Oh, never mind.) She enjoys improv and sketch comedy, 40′s and 50′s Pin Up art, and is a member of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor. Eryn is making her directorial debut with the Minions of Gozer. I love Dale Church.

Eryn often portrays overworked, underpaid secretary to the Ghostbusters, Janine Melnitz. She also wrangles Slimer and frequently plays the Ecto-1, runnning up and down the aisles of the theatre cheerily shouting “I’m a car; I’m a mother f**king car!” She directed the November 2011 debut as well as the Spring shows in March 2012. She created and directed the Gaga Gozer pre-show seen by lucky guests before the Pride Weekend Gender Bender Edition shows in June 2012.

Ian

Ian Dunford is an avid Sherlockian and spends way too much time reading Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, J.G. Ballard, H.P. Lovecraft, Grant Morrison, Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman. Originally from Portsmouth, VA, he has lived in NYC for five years now. Ian is also the devoted husband of the world’s greatest Ghostbusters fan and creator of the Minions of Gozer, Angela Williams, and has therefore seen the movie approximately 8 billion times.

Ian lends his talents to the Minions however he can, and is most frequently seen portraying Walter Peck, the Concierge, the Library Manager, or any other character who is just trying to do their damned job without those meddling Ghostbusters getting in the way. Ian served as Assistant Director for the Minions 2011 November debut.

Dana

Dana Gallagher is excited to be a part of the Ghostbusters shadowcast, even if it means that she now has to sleep with her refrigerator light on at night. Dana has trained at HB Studios and appeared in the student film The Daily Routine, and is a co-organizer for the New York City chapter of Dance Dance Party Party! Many thanks to my incredibly supportive friends, and to Dad, who cast me as Dana in the first place.

The Minions of Gozer think that Dana’s dad is a pretty smart guy, so we followed suit by casting her as Dana as well. Although you can see Dana as Walter Peck in the Gender Bender Edition. A brilliant choreographer, she is responsible for the brilliant moves busted by the cast for our Blues Brothers pre-show in March 2012 and our Gaga Gozer pre-show in June 2012.

Eliko

Elie “Eliko” Aharon was raised in Brooklyn, NY and shares the same birthday as Dan Aykroyd. A current student in Speech Therapy and Art at Brooklyn College, Eliko is multitalented in Music, Art, and Voice Acting. He has a few graphic novels in the works. Much like Mr. Aykroyd, Eliko has some actual ghostbusting in his family history; as his great grandfather was Sheik Suleiman, the Ghostbuster of Baghdad.

Eliko usually plays Dr. Ray Stantz although he can be seen as Psychic Jennifer, the Con Ed Worker, and other assorted geniuses from the movie.

Sadie

Sadie Kleinman is better known to her nearly seven fans as the cartoonist responsible for Small Peculiar, the Internet’s most popular comic about lobotomy. She is also an unpublished novelist, outsider Jew, native New Yorker, and freelance copy editor, only one of which occupations pays any money. She lives in Washington Heights with her Siamese fighting fish Bela, a turquoise crowntail.

Sadie is a faithful ensemble member of the Minions, filling in as all sorts of brilliant guys in trench coats and fedoras as well as terrifying canines. She can be seen playing Dr. Peter Venkwoman (Dr. Peter Venkman) in the Gender Bender Edition.

Louis

Louis Gaudio was a U.S. Navy Diver for 5 years (just like Cuba Gooding Jr. in that one movie…Snow Dogs or something). He was stationed on the beautiful island of Guam before moving to New York, where he lives with his houseplant named Audrey that he’s managed to keep alive so far.
Louis plays Ray Stantz, and he could not be more excited to be involved in this show. Ghostbusters is one of the movies that raised him whenever the TV was babysitting, and he has seen it no less than 50 times. In addition to occasionally acting and performing stand-up comedy, he is also a model, a writer, and a personal trainer. Louis is highly quotable and if you friend him on Facebook he promises to leave witty comments on your page.

Update: Louis just checked on the plant and it’s actually been dead for weeks. He is terrible at gardening. Catch him as Dr. Ray Stantz on most Friday nights, or as Janine Melnitz in the Gender Bender Edition.

Breanne

Breanne Hakes was born and raised in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She found her love of the stage through years of dance lessons and performances.

Breanne moved to NYC after receiving her Bachelors’ Degree in Theatre from California University of Pennsylvania. Working odd and end jobs to get by Breanne was cast in the Windy City Players tour of Aladdin as the Princess. After she returned from tour she began taking classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and Magnet Theatre to improve her acting and writing techniques. Breanne is a member of the up and coming Construct Theatre Company, whose mission is to write and perform original works relevant to our times. She recently became a member of the improv group The Red Tie Mafia and The Complete Theatre Company.

All your evil sexiness are belong to Breanne; she can be seen as Gozer the Gozerian in most of our performances. She portrayed Shegon Spengler (Dr. Egon Spengler) in the Gender Bender Edition.

Jamaal

Jamaal Stone grew up in Virginia always dreaming of being up on a stage, but his shy personality wasn’t get him anywhere…until one day a radio comedy contest changed everything…since his first time on stage he hasn’t looked back….the first time he saw Ghostbusters it scared the hell out of him, but he has always loved the film and being a Ghostbuster is like a dream come true…next step become a Ninja turtle…go to Jamaalstone.com for all the juicy gossip on this Charmingly funny individual…

Jake

Jake Turner was born and raised in a tiny podunck town of North Plains, Oregon. He then moved to New York City to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy to pursue his passion for theater and film. He would like to thank his loving and supportive wife and remind every one that pie is better than cake.

The Minions are proud to have Jake as Terror Dog; further, he served Gozer well by portraying…Gozer…in the Gender Bender Edition.

Rachel

Minions of Gozer is an ideal show for Rachel Gordon, because it combines all of her passions: film, theater, science fiction, and obsessive organization. Rachel started with Minions of Gozer as Stage Manager in March of 2012, and continued as director for the Gender Bender Edition in June 2012 and the Halloween Show in Oct 2012. In August 2012 Rachel directed the music video “Sensual, Parts I & II” for Philadelphia-based musician Johnny Showcase. (link: ) She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY and works freelance in film and television production. Rachel is also writing a feature screenplay.

Esther

Esther Ko is a writer, actor, and whatever it wants to be. She was born in New Jersey where she grew up role-playing Street Fighter and The Baby-Sitters Club. (You can probably guess which characters she played.) Currently, she lives in Brooklyn with two roommates and her nemesis—an obese, sociopathic cat named after a Japanese citrus fruit.

Slimer

Slimer is an originating member of the Minions of Gozer shadowcast. Appearing in Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, The Real Ghostbusters and cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue, Slimer, better known to his friends as “The Spud,” was also the spokesperson for the now discontinued Ecto-Cooler. Slimer’s addiction to junk food knows no bounds and defines him to this day. Fortunately ghosts do not have blood sugar levels or require insulin (although there is some evidence that they may suffer gastrointestinal problems.) Slimer comes to the Minions in puppet form thanks to Jay Tyson, better known to his friends and the world wide web as Dr. Puppet. Slimer would like to thank the entire cast for being supportive and forgiving him for always eating….everything in sight.

Mo

Maureen Shockey is an illustrator, storyboard artist, former library page, book junkie, rookie tattooist, professional tarot reader, and full-time geek. She’s probably the only person she knows who gets bored enough to teach themselves Old English and Morse code, or to listen to a meteor shower on the radar if it’s to cloudy to watch it. She is also a volunteer with historic Green-Wood cemetery, which is probably the second coolest thing that she does, the first being Minions of Gozer, of course. Ironically, both have an awful lot to do with dead people.

Casey

Casey has been pretending to be a Ghostbuster almost his whole life. The movie is one of the reasons he moved to New York City from his native Longview, TX 12 years ago. As an actor he has performed in numerous productions in New York City as well as The Pistarkle Theater in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and four seasons with The Texas Shakespeare Festival. Last winter he performed at The Kitchen as part of acclaimed performance artist, Neal Medlyn’s Wicked Clown Love and looks forward to reprising his role as a juggalo again this winter. You can see him as Hal in the web series Handsome Town (phoebetv.com) and as Mike in the upcoming web series Hipster Wars. Casey has a B.A. in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College.

Jimmy

Having left his ectoplasmic residue along the eastern seaboard since birth, Jimmy Roike finally possessed NYC; his favorite haunt.  An alumni of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy he is excited to be a part of the Ghostbusters cast in the roles of the Library Ghost, the Tall Woman, and J. Edgar Hoover.  Jimmy thanks everyone he has ever met for making him the person he is today.

Geoff

Geoff Moonen is an actor, musician, juggler, writer, gaming enthusiast and pokémon master. He grew up in Jersey and now barely lives in Manhattan.  His favorite ghostbuster is Harpo. Look for Geoff as Louis Tully, the one man in the movie nerdier than the classical musician, paranormal scientists and Egon.
